Food

  • Food is the main resource for pirates. They will be unable to operate without it.

  • A certain amount of Food is consumed each time a building performs an action ( collect wood/stone/metal, breeding, ship-related actions, etc. ).

  • Food is produced in Taverns or purchased on the market.

  • We are still experimenting with different economical aspects of the game market, to keep the economy healthy, the amount of food consumption on different tasks might change as the economy evolves by a special AI algorithm that we built. The idea is to avoid inflation and mass production of food leading to a loss in its value. This algorithm is still in testing and might not be present in the game at all and we just let the market do its thing. But as professionals, we must try all ways.
